THE LESLIE/LOHMAN GAY ART FOUNDATION, established in 1990, is now the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art. This public, non-profit foundation established in 1990 provides an outlet for art work that is unambiguously gay and which is frequently denied access to mainstream venues. The Foundation’s Gallery mounts exhibitions of work in all media by gay and lesbian artists.
